Leigh is a registered psychologist, with extensive experience working with individuals and groups. She has worked in private practice, health clinics, university, and vocational settings. Leigh has assisted many people with anxiety, mood, adjustment and eating disorders, chronic pain, health, and general life concerns. Leigh takes a person-centred approach to therapy, with a special interest in mindfulness-based therapy. She draws on techniques from CBT, ACT, MI, narrative, and schema therapies.
In addition to her bachelor’s degree in dance and post-graduate qualifications in psychology, Leigh holds a Master of Science in Health Psychology, from the University of Sydney and a Master of Professional Psychology, from Macquarie University. She has worked in health psychology research, contributing to the field, with several published journal articles.
